I havent reallly took any took 1 of the front its just leaned up by th house at the right angle. Havent really decided how i am going to distribute it through the house. 3 rooms. Dont have room under the house Almost got stuck the other day. So that vent i ran under the floor will prob be a cold air suction . Thats why ive been thinkin on 4 inch on the side of the house.
And thinkin of doin a lean to on the house so the heater serves 2 purposes. |

I like this sort of duct sizing chart
http://i546.photobucket.com/albums/h...INGCHART-1.jpg When I get access to a table saw to cut the wood for a collector, I'm going to use 6" R8 flex but I am thinking about adding additional insulation to the duct run, probably an XPS box waterproofed the best I can. |

My fan i bought was a dc powered 200cfm fan . Right now i have a craftsman blower blowin through it. Would have it suckin through but kinda hard to do and to much racket. Th duct is 2 25 ft 4 inch puttin out about 70 at the duct. degrees right now at 10a clock. 48 comin in 102 comin out the top. Hopein after i put insulation it will hold in more heat to. Debatein on weather to put it on top of my pump shed. |

Thats what i was going to do to start with . Got a very quick any where but the windows. So im going to have to run vents through the walls. Originally was going through the floor . But never again will i try fit under this low house. I do have one suction vent under the floor to suck up the cold air . Waiting on the fan and few other parts.
My next will be one with water when the money tree grows Plan to do heat my water then try heat my bedroom at night time. Just have to do lots more figuring on sun. |

200 cfm fan came in . Got it all put on and every thing. 64 degree air from the bottom floor suction to the panel and comeing out at 1100 am i was gettin 116 degree return back into the house. Waiting on a vent to put exhaust vents to the house. May put 2 intakes later on. But for now it seems to be putting out good heat. No idea how many btu my panel is putting out . I have it faceing south and 48 degree angle tilt. Put on a snap disk controller to . Lot better than hookin up a fan every morning

Heater has been givin heat great. Now its starting to warm up . So all that heat just gets waisted into the air. Im thinkin on takin out the winder screens and puttin in some pex pipe makin it useful hot water to my water heater.
