Default When do you turn on the back-up heat??

When do I turn on the back-up heat? When it gets down under 8 deg F !

Amazon.com: Ambient Weather WS-1171 Wireless Advanced Weather Station

Dr. Tech Wireless Weather Station w/ Outdoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor | eBay
