Since most electricity is the product of combustion why not cut out the middle man for most of that electrical power and get a natural gas fired dryer?

Oh and btw I installed a 3 way switch on my out side clothes dry that switches heater element power between 120 and 220 power.
It was already apart from replacing the timer and I was in the process of trying to clean lint out of it. Figured I would just be adding 3 wires, well more like extending 2 wires, adding a 3rd and having them meet up at a switch.

Not everyone has access to natural gas and some opt for electricity generated from alternative energy.
