Those little recessed lights are the worse little energy hogs I have run into in a long time.
I have a few neighbors with them , one of them is a fresh new house the other a 70's house renovated to look like a condo. Both houses have about 10 recessed lights in the living room , in the drafty 'can' type of enclosure that effectively leaks warm ceiling air to the attic or the next floors floor joists. I have heard the complaints on them |

If you need an LED for the fridge, you're leaving the door open for too long. If you insist, wait until the existing incandescent burns out; otherwise, the time spent with the door open changing the bulb will probably waste more electricity than you'll gain from running the LED bulb for the rest of the lifetime of the fridge.

I have a fix for that Clev , change the bulb when your cleaning the fridge !
then keep the bulb for later use in the stove. |
