Are you using electric?

Because keeping a house one temp just one temp will save you more than you. Now granted you should be insulated well when I say this but years of insulating tell me your savings will be better if your not trying to always bring the temp up after being down for so long. Wastes energy that way. Not to mention you want to be with in a 2-4 degree range of your night time temp. so you should be going to 64 or 62 at night not 54.
