I got the car again. This time it was to fix some electrical gremlins. While I was at it, I took at look at the A/C again. I took a look at the connection I knew was leaking. I removed the bolt holding it together and noticed a big 'ol crack around the mounting flange. I attempted to remove the line and this inevitably happened (see pic below). I have a new part on order and should have it tonight. Sure hope it holds a vacuum now!
