You must have fairly mild winters there if you can still ride... How deep are your loops? My loops are all buried between 8 and 9 feet, our frost line usually gets down about 6 ft.

I have even gone into the "HTML" code and tried to copy and paste your photobucket image address (AKA: "URL") in my browser, to view the indicated image, and there's nothing there... What's going on?? -AC

You are not alone, man. Something is awry with the internet of late. Post a comment in the thread about posting pictures. A few of my friends/relatives have been having the same issues. Works for me on their WiFi on my phone, not in their equipment. Don't know why.

Most of my soil is mostly sand with a small bit of clay. It soaks up the rain and drains very well. Great for a winter MX practice track. |

Made a little more progress on the conversion project this week.
I finished up all the brazing and did a pressure test with nitrogen at 300 PSI on the refrigerant circuit. The water side (including the pump) was previously tested with compressed air at 50 PSI. I also constructed a steel upper frame around the components I've added to the heat pump. The structure allows me to use all of the original sheet metal. I just have to come up with a 12" tall panel for each of the four sides. I have purged with nitrogen a few times and the system sitting under vacuum, but I need to come up with a micron vacuum gauge before I release the refrigerant into the upper section. In the next few weeks I will be making all of the liquid and electrical connections. Hopefully I'll start heating up this concrete slab around the end of the month. |

Yeah, I can definitely see every thing there. Everything there is wrapped in a photobuchet URL, so there's a lot of chance that permissions may not be conveyed properly. I upload my pix to EcoRenovator, so the chain of addresses to the photo is very short. -AC
