Need a new patio table? Try a SunTable.
If you have an extra $2200 laying around and want a powered patio table check out this solar topped table. Kinda interesting, however I think I'll stick with my extension cord.

Wow, that's pretty neat! I would love to have one of these out on my patio, but I'm afraid that I'm a little short changed at the moment. I will go ahead and add it to my wish list though! This would be the perfect addition to the patio sets that I already have. I suppose the only question that I would have, is in regards to the output. What kind of output does it get, and how is it effected if you put objects on the table? Would there be a significant drop in the output?

That little dish of fruit blocks enough sun to drop the output by 75%.. If it was connected to anything.

Tempting to make one out of some old thin film solar panels that stopped working after about 10 years, but they were cheaper then the ones that 27 years later are still producing above their rated output! I also thought about doing this with some huge 300 watt panels that I used to have that got caught by the wind and broke the glass, but I ended up selling them instead.
