Default Tree blockage? House facing north?

I think maybe pressure treated deck lumber should have been used.
Unless the plan is to remove the panels before they 'wear out'
in 30 or 40 years..

I really like the design. But I can tell by the angle, those are located in the south.
Around here, I would guess the correct angle is going to be around 30 to 40 degrees.

That general lay-out looks like something that I MIGHT be able to use.
But, my backyard is lower than the house & garage, so there might be
too much blockage. Especially in the winter when the sun is low.

So, I'm thinking about sticking a tiny solar panel out there on my old
satellite dish and run some tests for a few weeks to see what kind of solar
power might be possible from that area in the backyard (down near the swamp).

Heck, I could rig that thing up to track the sun without much trouble.
