We walked a few miles over to Lexington this afternoon and I decided to bring a camera..

Notice anything odd? (Besides the old guy)!

Yes, they have so much money, they use LED lamps 10 feet from a public street!

These folks added solar hot water to their little cottage in the burbs. (I had to use Zoom on this one).

These folks love their new PV..

But, I don't think they are going to dump their trees..

Silly to keep them, but that's just me. Not a big tree lover..

Dang, that is a lot of PV on that house! I could likely go off grid with that haha.

Heck, I would be getting my extra day-time watts, back at night.
Might even be at break-even if those are 140w (or higher) panels.

When we go by, I'm always telling my wife, how nice they look
and don't really clash with the style of the house etc..

It really is amazing how many solar panels are popping up around MA. You should see the stack being installed at the Dorchester gas tank. Must be 65+ full skids.

Yeah! My mother is friends with some Trappist monks in Spencer and they are leasing some land to the power company for a huge PV array like that. They are getting 100K a year for it!

I hope the array isn't going in the area where they grow their berries!!
I would miss their excellent Jam on my toast!!
