Put 2 layers of it around everything you can. That is, after you glue EVERY SINGLE seam. Get a big bucket of duct mastic and a box of gloves and smear it on by hand. Don't get cut.

To secure the FSK you wrap it around with several inches to spare, then fold the ends over and staple through them creating a strip 4" thick at the seam. Does that make sense?

FSK is faced a paper backed foil. There is excess backing on the sides (unlike with regular batts) so you can staple them together. If you have large ducts you can wrap rings of it around them and s5aple the edges together.
