Default New sub-forum

I've added a new forum to buy, trade, sell, post wanted ads, and share with others cool stuff you've found at good prices. Better to reuse than recycle!

What would you all say to a new sub-forum for stuff related more to technical issues than directly to ecorenovation, something like EcoModder's Off-Topic Tech thread? I've noticed quite a few experts here (many home grown) who could easily answer technical questions which don't fit into any of the forum's categories, and a lot of members more than willing to ask those questions.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. What does everyone else think?

I'd want the moderators to be aggressive with so-called expert advice. In other sites, I've seen all too many 'how to' that aren't 'finished'. For an example, several folks make detailed archive of how to install wind generators, never posting electrical measurements to validate the hard work. Some even publish manuals (free for a donation) but haven't given actual data. It's a serious letdown.

This is why I really like EcoRenovator. The members relate both sides of their efforts for the benefit of all. Their experiences are invaluable.
