Do you have any more photos of the heat pump unit itself? Very interesting.

Default Hdpe

Does anyone have a favorite - responsive place for HDPE? Geohydro seems to have good prices, but I don't see grout on their site. Have not gotten a return call yet. There's no rule that I have to go to one place, but it might help my sanity. (Or is that a lost cause? :-)

A second outfit had a hard time sending me
a clean, organized quote on a full GSHP.
I guess the HDPE pricing is in the stuff they
did send, but not neatly.

For grout, can I just use something I can get
at my local building supplier? Or just clean fill? screened? My friend suggested making sensors (humidistats?) so we could activate the soaker hose in the ground loop if it is needed.

Thanks.
Seth

I got my HDPE from two different sources, one was Lowes... Home Despot also had the stuff. I also found a place out on the edge of town that specializes in HDPE fabrication and they sell to the local GSHP installers, and they sell in 500 foot rolls. The price and quality was pretty close either way.

You can make your own. Here's a recipe for geothermal bore hole grout.

Check Youtube for grouting videos.

Looks like the well driller project is only a place-holder at this point.

Default True Well Drill rig in development

So far I am very impressed with all the machines here, they are adding as they build, the development page offers some insight on their direction
