Why I'm still against a Solar electric system for my house
I do not want to mix my concerns about Solar electric systems with firefighters' concerns...
In this thread I would like to explain Why I'm still against a Solar electric system for my house. The first reason is my concerns about “dirty electricity.” The second argument is unreasonable investment return period. Once again: "...Modern solar systems use components that radiate radio frequency electromagnetic radiation, which can cause the symptoms. The main problem is the inverter, which is a device that takes the electricity from the solar panels and turns it into alternating current (AC) and puts it out on the electrical grid. The inverter generates radio frequency radiation. The wires connected to the inverter act as antennas, so the radiation may be picked up hundreds of feet away from the inverter. There have been cases where a solar-electric system became a problem for an electrically sensitive person living next door... It is easy to demonstrate that the solar system generates dirty electricity. One method is to take a simple AM radio, set the dial at the lowest frequency and hold the radio near the solar panels or wires. A lot of static and buzzing should be heard, which goes away when taking the radio well away from the building. Another method is to buy a Stetzer meter and plug it into any outlet fed by the solar system..." More details are posted here: http://www.eiwellspring.org/SolarEMFHazard.pdf For this video I used radio and Electromagnetic Field Detector (field strength in milligauss - 30 mG Max.). The video (first part), that I've just uploaded demonstrates how to "see" a "dirty electricity": To my opponents - if you have children or grandchildren - just try to investigate this issue more carefully (physical aspects and health aspects)... I will try to create more videos... Boris Romanov Last edited by Boris romanov; 03-08-14 at 10:24 AM.. |

Sorry you feel this way but in america we have the right to your option so you are welcome to your friendly opinion
For the dirty electricity, you are using an cheap junky inverter, a good whole houses inverter is a pure sine wave and will have cleaner electricity then most power companies put out. Since pres bush started promoting solar electric back almost a decade ago prices have come way down, not even including gov kickbacks. I have run the number and have seen many others do the same that actually shows that it is a great long term investment. Now know one can predict the future so that may change for better or worse and since panels will last about 40 - 70 years and inverters about 15 -20 years that works out good hedging against power company rate hikes which for me was 6 cents 15 years ago and is now a little over 15 cents a kw Take care

AM radio is extremely easy to disrupt. Try driving under a power line, listen to AM radio during a thunderstorm, or put a cell phone within 5 feet of a cheap AM radio and you'll get noise like that. Radio waves at those small levels of power are not dangerous.

A human body is more sensitive than any radio...
In addition, please read my first post in this thread more carefully: "For this video I used radio and Electromagnetic Field Detector (field strength in milligauss - 30 mG Max.). You can see it in the first video... I was shocked when I saw a huge inverter located under a bedroom. Boris Romanov Last edited by Boris romanov; 03-08-14 at 11:48 AM.. |

With your displeasure of electricity and solar panels and your need to demonstrate its massive effect and all you did was detect a miniscule amount !!

I suspect you know NOTHING about electromagnetic energy and are just a overly caution individual - with No training in this field and even less understanding.

Your gauss meter test proves the field is strong right on top of the pos inverter - not where you were standing because there would be NO electrical radiation to detect there.

It's you imaginations.
I believe in Laws of Physics. I created and posted two real videos - but you have nothing...That means you are not serious opponent to me. Probably you have to talk with my grandson... No more replies to your nonsenses. Boris Romanov |

Boris your a worry wart but not even i would sleep on top of a inverter.. did you try moving your cheap meter a few inches away from that really cheap low tech inverter ?? because you know and i know that electrical field drops off rapidly, within inches.
You have demonstrated to me your lack of objective deduction in this matter - in short you do not report any findings that disprove your fears. Such as the distance from objects at which the energy is no longer measurable or radiated at. Inches you know it because even your cheap Gauss meter would of shown you that. So the truth is even a cheap low tech inverter radiates measurable energy to the extent of 1 or 2 inches. Last edited by ecomodded; 03-08-14 at 02:01 PM.. |
