Hi Everyone!

My name is Michael. I've been interested in Solar Energy for just about 50 years, having started with a simple D.I.Y. project book by D.S. Halacy called 'Fun with the Sun'.

Solar Trackers are my main area of interest now. I recently spent the last 2 years designing and perfecting a 2 axis solar tracker, and if there is interest on the forum I will be posting some of the details.

In the interest of full disclosure I am also the person who runs MTM Scientific, Inc. I really enjoy associating with people that are doing things, which is the crowd I've concluded is hanging out here!

Welcome to the mix..

I've been totally off grid since 1989, using a total 12 v.d.c. system. I survive well on 512 watts of panel in Ohio on a fixed telephone pole mount..

I will check out your site in the near future..

A number of ecorenovators have voiced their interest in simple, reliable trackers and in assuming control of automotive alternators for power generation. Your experience with and expertise in these devices would definitely be appreciated.
