There is a reason the water bottle is not on top of heating source (obviously if it was somehow connected to heatsink and/or heater, that would greatly help with the cooling). The reason i put it next to heater was that i was wondering how it will affect the ambient temperatures. I understand your answer though and i will probably have to test it myself to get a definite answer.

I did this once.
I replaced the condenser fan with a bathroom fan.
Piped the heat outside to the garage through a hole in the wall.
