New guy here
Hey there, I just joined, I really want to do something to stop the pollution and mass production thats ruining our entire world and potentially our ecosystem. I live in canada, in my apartment bedroom I have my temperature set at 16-17C (61-63F) and 18C for the rest of the apartment. Is this good for trying to do something to save more energy?
Thanks for any/all feedback, it would be much appreciated. |

It's a start, isn't it?
I don't see how ending mass production is supposed to help, though. Mass production means higher productivity, so you can afford things like insulation and more efficient appliances. |

Welcome to the site Exow2. I moved your post into its own thread to get a bit more attention.
Keeping temperatures lower during the heating season (and higher in the cooling season) will definitely help lower energy usage. If possible, you might try turning it down more when you are not at home as this will reduce energy usage even further. I would agree with RobertSmalls about mass production. If there is a need for a product, mass production can be quite useful in reducing cost and efficiently producing things.
