Default Seiki SE50UY04: Big, cheap, high resolution, and efficient!

I recently upgraded to 4K when I saw that Seiki display go for really cheap. I read the reviews (from those who actually know what they're doing - not some random consumer trying to run a 4K display off a cheap netbook!) and they seem to be quite happy with it, so I decided to get one to replace a 22" 1080p display.

As a 50" 4K display, it can be thought of as 4 25" 1080p displays without borders in between. I'm still trying to see if I could enable the full 4K on my aging GTX 560 Ti (officially not supported, but some users have managed to hack it into working!), but I'm already pretty impressed just running it at 1080p. It will do 1080p at 120Hz (many "120Hz" displays won't!), which is awesome for gaming. I did try loading a few pictures with the built in USB and the 4K was as impressive as I expected.

The real surprise came when I checked the power draw. With the backlight turned down to reasonable levels, it only used about 40W! Pretty impressive considering the 22" 1080p it replaced used about 25W and an even older 22" 1680x1050 used about 35W.
