In my opinion the forcing number for land use are way off, do they consider black pavement and black rooftops? doesnt seem so. Also the EPA told me (their climate change office) on the phone that they don't have those numbers either, to be exact they dont know how much black stuff everywhere is affecting climate change, neither do ranking member of the energy and means commision, not to put them down, but the scienctific data isnt there just yet, though they are aware of this question. partly because of me.

I'm not sure I understand your point here.. My point was that we are rapidly running out of money.
This week, our regime is busy buying votes, so they can stay in power.
If they are successful, the effects on the worth of the dollar will be drastic.
Within a year or two, we will be rioting in the streets..

It's going to look like this, but bigger.. Much bigger..

Greece Police Photos 1

"The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money [to spend]."

I'm pretty sure that China isn't going to keep loaning us money forever.

The out of control spending, by all levels our our government (local and federal),
reminds me of the guy who goes to the track and starts betting,
and he doesn't quit until he is flat broke and been busted for stealing,
to support his habit..

Any money the regime can borrow, is going to go for buying votes.
If they stay in power, a large part of the population will move over to the entitlement class.
We know what happens right have that.
Too few working people supporting way too many entitlement folks..

When the money runs dry, they will wig out and burn everything to the ground..

With this kind of stuff going on, NOBODY is going to be worried about
global warming or cooling..

Default financing research is important

We are not going to be able to work out any solutions, if we have NO MONEY..

Our leaders have decided they can save the planet from certain destruction,
(caused by global warming etc), by punishing working people.

Since only 1/2 the able-bodied people in America are really paying taxes,
adding to that burden will reduce our treasury, as more people
will not see hard work, as a way to get ahead in life.

When workers are mistreated, the get mad and go on strike.. (See Europe).

It will cost FAR MORE money to *not* do anything about anthropogenic climate change. That was the point of the "old" video I posted earlier -- the logical arguments made by the gentleman in the video are completely valid today as when he made the video. I hope you can bring yourself to view it.

Also the point has been made already -- that not only do we need to switch to renewable energy to avoid the worst of the effects of climate change -- but the finite fossil fuels we are now using are finite and will run out, so we need to switch to renewables anyway.

It will cost less if we start now and transition before something completely catastrophic happens and forces us to rush. For example, if we run out of water in the southwest, or we have a wheat crop failure, or flooding ruins a large city, or fire overruns a large city, etc. The flooding in Vermont last year was a taste of what will be coming.

give me a break this graph is innaccurate, solely provable by the fact that it says the medieval period was warmer than now, look it up, thats not factually correct, and to do whatever you can to wish destruction upon civilization is not helping anything. furthermore, greenland was the only area warmer at that period, and this is based on observations of vikings, which is nonsense when compared to scientific data. yea, hey if you're gonna have troll deniar debates you should head over to theenvironmentalsite.org or .com forums, its filled with troll garbage there, this is the forum for solution, please spare me the conservative malingering and recruitment lectures. please

by the way, conversation over there has proven this to be "oil company" funded bloggery at its trickiest. pure unadulterated net bs.

oh wait plus, where the hell are the 75 temperature swings? they must be fantasy world swings

that graph is from 2009 anyhow!

Here you go.. The famous ipcc hockey stick curve..

The Hockey Stick: A New Low in Climate Science

You can trust the guys who came up with this one..
Even if the data didn't support the spike, they just 'knew' it was there, so they drew it in..
Like doing some harmless photo-shop... And, you get more grants for more taxpayers mola!!

Why is the Arctic ice melting?

Arctic Sea Ice News and Analysis

We had both the northwest and north east passages open during the summer for the first time ever in recorded human history.

The tundra is melting and releasing methane. The ocean is more acidic.

The recent study by Richard Muller should get your attention. He was a skeptic going into it. He was funded by oil money. And check out his conclusion:

You cannot dismiss the IPCC data or their conclusions -- you might as well try to undo plate tectonics, or convince everyone that the sun orbits the earth, or that DNA has nothing to do with biology. Our knowledge of climate change is completely intertwined with all other fields of science. We could not do paleontology or understand evolution or plate tectonics or geology without knowing about climate science. Astrophysics overlaps with climate science, as does biology, and oceanography.
