Default Recharge batteries using waste energy from bike riding

I thought this was a pretty interesting and good idea. The unit captures energy from bumps and what not and charges an onboard battery which can then be used to power or charge something else.

DesignApplause | reCycle. Energy concept.

It's not real yet, though, is it?

It would actually be very simple to do this with a hybrid bicycle. Just regen while pedaling.

nice idea but it is just a concept idea, not even a prototype, it doesn't even have any math behind it, it would also be more affective if it was part of the suspension instead of a shake style alternator like shake charged flashlights have as they don't have enough weight in them to produce a strong charge.
