Default Ticking all the Boxes

We have some headway made on the Solar Pergola. The last few days were spent running conduit and pulling wire to the panel area in the garage. It was sooooo nice having the for-thought to have conduit already run in the wall during home construction. A disconnect was installed on the outer wall as per code. In the highly unlikely event that the power needs to be disconnected the ability is there.

The charge controller is installed and wired. This is a high voltage 400 volt controller that will charge the Nimh battery pack. The battery pack is older but still has capacity. It was rated at 29 kwh.

For the inverter I'm not really sure entirely which direction I will go with this. If the industrial inverter doesn't measure up I will roll my own. Similar to the inverter used for the Chevy S-10 EV

Should have this running by fall. This is a Off Grid set up.
