Here is a major discovery in solar power generation! Yes, scientists from Monash University along with associates from the universities of Wollongong & Ulm have developed ‘tandem dye-sensitized solar cells’ which can help in increasing the solar energy conversion by threefold. This conversion efficiency is very high when compared to the earlier reported ‘tandem dye-sensitized solar cells’.
This discovery will increase in the capability of energy generation of solar cells and will make them as a better option in place of the traditional silicon solar cells. The details of this solar energy news can be seen in the recent issue of ‘Nature Materials’.
This breakthrough in solar energy extraction will surely make more and more people leave traditional energy resources and start using solar energy. And, this has been going on for many ,many years. Maybe someday, we will
