My boys both really like their 99/96 cars. They go to a private school and there are a lot of BMW new cars trucks…

But they both think it is nice to have a non cookie cutter cars. I see how their friends take car of their cars. When a new car is gifted, most of them don’t take care of their cars.

My boys both have Sweat Equity in their cars and it makes a difference. They take care of them better than their friends that have new cars.

Just goes to show you care about what you have to work for. I hope they see if you do the auto repair yourself it is so much cheaper to keep a car running good.

My son has put just over 15K miles on his car. We had to replace the battery and the alternator went bad. It is back on the road again.

I ordered a alternator from auto zone they shipped it with no packing it was ruined.
We went to Advance auto and bought a lifetime warrenty one.

My son had crank angle position sensor go bad. I put an new one in and a JY EGR valve new plugs oil change and it is back on the road. 209K mile and still runs great.
