In Minnesota we had a few snow falls in April and we didn't get to more than highs of 80's or more consistently until about mid-June and July has been hot but nothing unusual but on July 20th our 80+ degree day streak abruptly ended and July 27th had a high of 61 and an overnight low of 51. We have overnight lows in the 50s for the next week on the forecast with high's barely touching 80 with maybe an instance or two of it reaching 80. August is always a surprise in MN but I have a feeling the extended winter and possible short summer might not be fun when it comes time to pull out the snowblower. I just realized I need to get a new one of those, too many chronic problems with the one I have. ..or I just need to finish up my battery electric snowblower project and actually drop cash on the lithium.

I guess it's been a short summer up north and above "80 N latitude have dropped to freezing quite a bit early".
