One thing to be aware of is that while most 3.5" SATA drives do not need 3.3V, some 2.5" ones do. The stock ANAS350 does not supply 3.3V on SATA so some 2.5" drives would not work. (No way to mount a 2.5" drive either, at least not without drilling some holes in the carrier.) It does have a 3.3V regulator on board, so I find it odd they didn't connect it to SATA as well. They were probably trying to save a few cents on a wire... (There was a note in the package stating that drives over 1TB are not supported, even though the 1.5TB I put in it works fine. Probably the 3.3V issue, which apparently affects some but not all 3.5" drives over 1TB.
