I made some progress tonight. I wanted to use all clear glass but the seal was bad on my third piece of clear glass. The next one I tried it had a bad seal also. So I put up what I have. I am fine with it hey reduce recycle reuse.

Now I can start on polycarb on the front.
It is veterans day and I was in the Navy for about 8 years Lowes has 10% off for veterans. So I bought the wood for the roof venting and the nailers for the siding.
Save money where I can.

I have aluminum profiles for the outside edges. For the middle I have washers with rubber gaskets.
I have self-drilling galvanized rubber washer screws.

Silicone calk needs to be used where the profiles meet.
I have been putting silicone calk on the back of the aluminum profiles to make them air tight against the wood.
Later I will come back and calk the outside edge of the profile.

On the roof I have some rubber washers the go between the wood and the polycarb to help keep condensation from dripping down.

I use only GE Silicone II this will not harm the polycarb and is good stuff.

For any of this to work very well it will need to be sealed up very tight.
The black barrels will put off heat but not enough for air leaks.

The front is done except the venting below the polycarb. I can only work on it ½ day today.
