You might be an EcoRenovator if...
... You first buy an Arduino to help you track/lower your energy consumption, then you search for a more efficient power supply to power it.
Swapping a 12V 0.4A wallwart for a 9V 1A unit reduced usage from 2.5W to 1.5W

... You buy the most efficient refrigerator, then do what you can to reduce its consumption.

You might be an EcoRenovator if,

You curse at the idea of using 23 watts in the CFL($1) in your computer room,
when you know very well, that an LED blub($30) will only use 12 watts and give you almost enough light..

You won't buy CFL bulbs because you don't want to wait another 10 years to get LEDs.

You consider anything below 2.0 COP to be inefficient.

You spend your tax return on insulation, caulk, and expanding foam sealant.

You read the 96% AFUE sticker as 4% wasted fuel.

kWh, therm, COP and AFUE are household terms (in your household).

You have added EcoRenovator to your browser's autocorrect dictionary.

You might be an EcoRenovator if...
... Whenever your friends/family/neighbors start talking about electricity/water/gas bills, you are the only one who knows not only the cost, but also how many kWh/cubic meters he consumes.

You might be an EcoRenovator if...
... You log your energy usage with better resolution than "I looked at my meter yesterday and it was spinning really fast".

you might be an ecorenovator if
-you measure your solar powered battery bank in .0x of a volt. and care.
-you boast to your friends that your 48v solar panels kicked it at 64.51 volts
-you have an old tractor with a perfectly good gas motor but you spend hours researching how to convert it to electric.
-you have a hidden bank account where you put all your free cash so you can buy said electric conversion without your wife knowing. (really babe, I was at the strip club)

but I don't know anyone like that.

You might be an EcoRenovator if...
... Each time you look at the radiator on the wall you keep thinking "If only it was 10-15% larger, then I could lower the heating system's supply temperature by a degree or two, bumping its efficiency..."

Put a few computer fans on it, operated by a high efficiency power supply and a thermostat.
