Default Ecoatm

I met Mark Bowles the founder and ceo of this company
http://www.ecoatm.com/index.htm

It is a very neat system. Very cool program and I am very happy that I could be part of the initial testing. Currently being tested in the electronics store at the nebraska furniture mart. Presently if your phone is new enough they give you instore credit at the mart...(old ones just get a tree planted) but they want to get it to a points system or cash back system. Its currently being tested in omaha to obtain some investors.

If you are not interested in the program or credit at the mart let me know and i'll take your old cell phones off your hands for you.

He has a dream of expanding it to more retailers and then to include all electronics and not just phones.

Nice system. I know the owner of a local ewaste recycler too. Its amazing how much stuff he recycles. I went to his warehouse once and there are just pallets of monitors, printers, computers, etc.

Back when I was working with a couple guys fixing Xboxen and PS2's, etc... we tried buying cores from a few of these companies. They come up with entire pallets of warranty returns that we could have bought for pennies on the dollar, fixed, and made HUGE profits from, at normal market prices (below those of GameStop, etc.).

The deals never went through, though.
