Default Beautiful all natural pool

I found this today. It just looks amazingly beautiful. Very cool idea. Supposedly the algae build up isn't a problem either.

link is no good anymore

That is very cool. Supposedly mosquitoes aren't a problem. I know that some cities are using a similar system as the last stage in their sewage treatment.

Very cool.
Do bear in mind there there are circulating pumps, so not totally green (but closer than my pool).

Well, since this topic came up again yesterday I've gone bananas with it. I'm going to build small natural pool in my yard. I personally don't do much "swimming" when I go to the river. I just get in to cool down and fly off the rope swing. I'm thinking I can do it for 2-3 grand. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.

BTW, Check this out:
How to Build a Natural Swimming Pool

I think I could get the hole dug on a Saturday if I invited all of my friends and provided free beer and food. Then it's just a matter of laying down a liner and planting some plants. Maybe also a small solar powered air pump or something like that.

That would be really cool to see done. What is small though?

The water is cycled to keep things clean. Sadly, it looks like the website has changed hands and you can't read the article.

That is nice, inspirational it would seem as well , haha.
The idea fits in well with this website, a ecopool
is going to appeal to a lot of home owners.
I want one too!

I have a 10ft x 10ft piece of rubber/pound liner that i want to fashion into a in ground soaking tub,Solar heated with stone and water grass surround.

And also

Good one S-F , and it will be nice to see your dig and build of one.
Your projects construction will be informative and interesting,by the looks of the DVD's makers pound pool.
