National Solar Tour.

October 2nd is the National Tour Of Solar Businesses.
October 3rd is the National Tour Of Solar Homes, nearly every state has people opening their solar powered homes and businesses to the public, as part of this my family is inviting people to our house to get a first hand look a greener life style, to see solar panels up close, listen to the woosh of a wind turbine, walk around an organic garden, go for a ride in an electric car, eat cookies baked in a sun oven.
For those of you in other parts of the country there are similar events going on as well, a little bit of searching online and I'm sure you will find them!
We are also going to have a number of examples of things you can do on a budget to save energy and money in your every day life.
