So, they build the same unit again, and didn't install the LCD board! I'm almost ready to try again.. That big one will have room inside (I hope) to install RFI-EMI filters, an SSR & etc.. I'm thinking of buying one!! But, I would get the high voltage model (50-100vdc), so I won't have to reconfigure my panels. It would be plug-n-play, since they run about 68vdc. (I would sell the one I have now on-line. It's a 28-52vdc 120ac). My idea was to get a cheap GTI setup to use to supply some extra kick to my back-up 5kw gas back-up generator. If I could get about 400w of PV backing the gas gen, it would use less gas and I could get a longer run time. It's likely we will never have another long black-out, so this stuff will most likely never be used.. And, I guess that's a good thing.. |
