Default Refrigerant Charging Scale review

The UPS guy left it out in the cold rain, but it's working fine!
Here's the link back to the device..

The scale body itself is made from aluminum castings. It seems pretty well made.
The remote display is light plastic (8 oz) and will likely crack if dropped.
It's not detachable and has a removable hatch for the 9V battery, and also has a fold-down leg-stand for angle viewing.

The 17.8 lb recovery tank displays as 17.85 lbs (Plastic mesh etc removed) which I think is pretty good.
I've played with weights off-and on the scale, zeroing the scale with different weights on it, and the repeatably is dead on..

The time-out is 10 minutes. I tried leaving it turned on and adding and removing some weight at 5 minutes, and it still timed-out..
Next, I'm going to try cycling the display mode from lbs to kg and oz, to see if that extends the time-on longer..
That worked. Before the 10 min mark, I cycled the Units button and that resets the 10 min time-out.
I ran the scale for about 30 min with no time-out. Just need to run a loud beeping repeating timer, to remind me to cycle the Units.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/381849647091
