Forum & server upgrade - keep an eye out for errors

We did a number of upgrades to the server hardware & software today that will speed up the site. We also switched over to https for better security.

Everything went relatively smoothly and all seems to be in order. But keep an eye out for errors anyway, and let us know here if you spot any.

Already spotted:

- The image resizer plug-in is borked. (The one that shrinks big images so they don't blow up thread page formatting.)

- auto-Youtube linker might be on the fritz

Anything minor like these will be addressed next week!

When you post in ' or " it converts them to
?

I will copy my post from word then save it and wall the quotes get converted to question makes.

Thanks. Can you point to an example where it's happened? It might be a character set setting on the new database. I'll have to be able to show an example to the server admin.

The measurement is 2? by 3? this is ?2x3?

I typed the above statement into Microsoft word and paste it here it really said 2' by 3' this is "2x3"
I this how i have posted for years this just started with the upgrade.
