That's a little less than our highest usage months here in TX. IIRC our highest usage was around 2000kwh two years ago. It was quite hot with the highs in the 115* range and lows around 85* and an average daily temp around 90* or so. (doesn't cool off at night like deserts do) The AC runs about 20hrs a day when it's that hot as the manual J temps are lower than actual historical numbers for here resulting in undersized equipment. Many citys have started to state their own temps which reflect the local climate ie 100-103 vs 99* for the high and 17 for the low.
