Cheap panel?
I bought 2 panels from 350.00 each after my offer. so it's 1.75 a watt.
CanadianSolar CS 6P-200 PV Module Never used - eBay (item 150473546772 end time Nov-26-10 07:04:17 PST) He's on long island. so I save the shipping charge. I dont know what I will do with it, since I cannot connect to my inverter eventhough it is not at the max yet. I used Sharp panels and this is made by Canadian solar. May get some enphase to wire into my panel. |

Sounds like a great deal.
Everyone I've talked to using the enphase converters is quite happy with them. What inverter are you already using? I don't remember you talking about a PV or wind setup?

I have 7.99 k system. it consides with Sunnyboy 5000 and 4000 inverters into 2 strings configuration. One string is 5.17 kw and the other is 2.8kw.. Too bad I just can't attach the two panels to the 2.8kw string (two different type and spec)

Good deal!! Nice find.
I think the simplest way to get these new panels doing their share, is to go ahead and spend some more money on a pair of Enphase inverters. Or, check out the new dual-panel Enphase GTIs..?. I'm pretty sure you new panels are on the Enphase compatibility list.. Downloads - Support - Enphase Energy |

I made the deal with the seller.. they have 72 panels ..need to get rid off it asap..
I got 3 for 900.00.. and saw a M200-32-240-S02 enphase inverter for about $100.00 w/shipping. But can't find anything whether the 2 are compatible. I even called enphase.. they don't know.. Looking at the spec. I don't think they are compatible. The Von voltage it too hight for the inverter.. The problem now is where to mount them.. my roof is max out. |

M200-32-240-s02 ??
"I got 3 for 900.00"?? That's $300 each?? WOW!!
Now, you are making me want to drive down to Long Island!! Humm, I wonder if six of those would fit in the back of my Escape.?. Yeah, your PV voltage is too low.. 30v isn't gonna hack it.. Enphase Micro-Inverter M200-32-240-S02 MC4 "Peak Power Tracking Voltage: 44 volts to 65 volts" Your PV should be near the top end of the MPPT range (IMHO).. Do you have any good spots in the backyard for a little post mount? |
