Great article on shopping for high quality rechargeable batteries
This article here is definitely worth a read through: Coding Horror: Adventures in Rechargeable Batteries
Synopsis: it's not all about the capacity, but also about the discharge rate. You can have high capacity batteries that die off while they are not used in about a month. Also, get a sensitive charger. |

Nice. I'm quite tempted to get that charger. I recently picked up a bunch of Nimh batteries myself and am replacing everything with them as they go dead. The charger I got is a cheap piece of junk though.

Cool...I want one.
Geez, I wish they had a website that told you where you could buy these things. It's so annoying trying to search the net trying to find one at a local store. |

+1 for the Eneloops. Great batteries. They go in the camera, while the cheap ones go in the kids toys.
http://all-battery.com has both kinds for pretty good prices. They also sell a variety of chargers. (I think the listed one is one they sell) |
