Default Heating up Pool Water

I got pool in my backyard (approx 500 yards from my house). We don't use it regularly, just 3 months in a year when i spend my 3 months vacation over farmhouse.

I was looking for system to heat up the water while I don't have to worry much on bill. I am fine with one time investment but not recurring.

I am thinking if it would be a wise move to go for solar thermal system? the size of the pool is 18X35 ft
