Not that I allow them to be naked, but my kids a few times have been outside half naked and the neighbors have had a fit with that. One lady came over and told me to put a diaper on him... I should have showed her my backside, but i just stayed quiet...not even sure if she was a neighbor or just someone on a walk. So i think i'll keep my clothes on, because people around here seem to be a little uptight with that sort of thing...which can be good because afterwards we did some digging and there are plenty of perverts out there, one lived only a few blocks away and was caught with kiddie porn...so now i try very hard to make sure the kids are covered....i do think a wood fence (tall) can be a good thing for any yard, if you do want to let things hang out.

Actually, the fact that womens breasts are shown a lot more in Europe and almost all beaches in Europe are at least topless, has meant that most men don't have nearly as much of the teenage craziness that we do. If something is out there for all to see it soon stops becoming as much of a distraction. I've been to a number of nude beaches in Europe and even in the parking lots and public washrooms, it is quite common to see nude or semi-nude people changing and no one seems to care.

I also put some solar systems on a couple of nudest camps around here years ago and the even the teenage boys had a more respectful demeanor.

It's OK Eco. We should know what risks to watch for. But if there is a better way, we can not just dismiss it out of fear. We need to learn to watch out for each other while also restricting the perpetrators of crimes not the subjects of those crimes. That is much like what creeky quoted.

Actually, once we young men learn to behave ourselves, Cooking and working in the shop while nude is a very enjoyable experience. I just finished a kitchen remodel and did almost all of the construction nude.

Nudity is taboo in the states so many people are confused and therefore don't control themselves. In places where it is common it is not a big deal and people behave. "chicken or the egg"

Ever figure that people have those social cues /because/ of the taboo of nudity, rather than in spite of it?

Nudist colonies dont' seem to have as much of the 'peeping tom' and other crimes associated.. and frankly, if you're going to be nude, your 'personal' privacy likely isn't of much concern to you anyway.

I leave my curtains drawn open most of the time because I don't really care if people see me naked. It's a penis - read a book someday, yano?
