Default Does anyone have standalone energy monitors?

I have one...Powercost blueline something or other? I forget what it's called just because I don't have it on me, but I think it's like 150 new or something, though I picked it up for 60 bucks off kijiji or whathaveyou.

What does everyone else use?

I just use a Kill-a-watt. It works for most uses and is quite a bit cheaper. I think mine was $25 or $30. It pays for itself in no time though.

I might end up getting a whole house monitor though. It could be quite useful for monitoring things that the kill-a-watt can't.

Actually, here's what I have: PowerCost Monitor

The old version though. I also have a kill-a-watt. I mainly gave the powercost monitor to my mom because I know it would influence her a bit, and it has. Right now it's not working though, I think I need a new battery for the sensor but I didn't have time to fiddle with it / forgot,
