Default DIY well needs water pump..

Saw these on Ebay and Amazon..

Farm & Ranch 12v / 24v Submersible Deep Dc Solar Well Water Pump, Solar, Battery, Alternate Energy, 230ft+ Lift - Amazon.com

I have ground water about 1 foot under the soil near the north end of our land.
It's a swamp over the rock wall..

Might be a good source of flushing water, in case of city water pressure loss..

I'm trying to think about what we would do if the city water stopped flowing for a few days..

It seems like a low voltage DC pump would be safer than using 120vac..
What do you guys think?
