My property is not level there's about 2' of difference between front and back. 4" slab in front means 2' 4" in back. Cost is also higher because of my remote location. 4k was the low bid 9k was the crazy bid. 4 other foundation companies had better things to do than give a quote.

Reminds me of when we had to pour some new front steps to go up about 4ft. We put a 50gal barrel in the middle and poured around it. Saved a ton of concrete.
