Default New Mini Split

Friedrich 16 SEER 11,800 BTU A/C - Heat Pump 120 VAC . Mostly finished the install yesterday PM . It is temporarily running off an extension cord .

Photos to follow .

So far , I LIKE it . :-)

Indoor unit is quieter than the window unit , much quieter than when the compressor kicks on in the window shaker .

The outdoor unit is very quite , but no hotter than it is outside , it is probably not working very hard / running very fast .

God bless
Wyr

PS This is our second MS . We installed the first 2 seasons ago .

I've bought 9 of them so far. Happy with all of them to date.

The MS ( bedroom ) had been set on 75F . Was pulling 0.2 amps .

I moved the setting down to 70F and hit Turbo . Amperage went up to 4.5 amps .

5 - 10 minutes latter it was reading 8.4 amps . Turned Turbo off and it dropped to 7.4 amps .

Turned it back up to 75F . Amp ramped down to 5.1 amps .

Turned fan to automatic . Amps slowly dropped to 4.3 amps .

I expect it will return to .2 when the room comes to 75F ( I previously had the door open to the hall ) .

God bless

It looks good on the wall.
Is your outdoor unit bolted to the red bricks?
It looks like it could be knocked over one of our bad afternoon storms might do it.

No , it is screwed to 2 wooden 4" x 4" blocks . But not screwed to the " flag stones " .

It is pretty heavy and protected some what , being between my house and the next door neighbor .

God bless
