weather radio
I have learned the value of a good weather radio.
The radio I choose was a Midland ER102 650 mAh Weather alert radio It has a hand crank, flashlight, clock and a usb charger built in. The charger that came with the unit was no good almost out of the box. The weather side is picky and the stations are difficult to keep tuned in. I need a good portable weather radio I can depend on to work each time and every time. What brand and models do you have that fits the criteria? Thanks |

The reviews for the ER102 on Amazon are pretty good..
I'm using a little Sony SRF M37W It has the VHF weather channels, but I never listen to them much. Only on vaca at the lakes in NH.. The radio has really good AM & FM reception. And the audio is good with the earphones (included) or some regular ear-buds. It has a clip on it's back. I hook it to my brake cable while riding my bike or clip it onto my belt while mowing with the push mower. It's one of the better radios I've seen lately.. |
