Well, that's advertising third prize for Wonderboy!

(Screenshot from Weird Al's White & Nerdy video.)

Your post got me side-tracked into watching a ton of Weird Al's videos..
I loved his EBay video!!

I'll try to post my review of the new thermostat this fall, since the winter is all but over here in BeanTown..

Wow! The Trane is here and it's a really nice looking gizmo! Got to study how to install now!

I'm bringing this one back from the grave. How is everyone enjoying their prizes?

Any thoughts to share on the thermostat Xringer? I know my uncle has been loving his. Not only does it reduce his gas bill, but it makes for much more comfortable house. He used to have a manual thermostat which meant turning it down less at night, or waking up to a cold house.

Also, towards the end of this month we'll be doing another giveaway! This one I've had a bit more time to prepare and have acquired more goodies.

I'm also open to ideas that you might like to have for items to giveaway.

It's still hanging in there!

I'm liking it a lot more, now that I know the batteries aren't going to run down quickly.
(Like at 3AM in January) It's still working off the original backup-batteries,
which I will likely replace in the late fall.
It's easy to use and can work on a simple 2-wire system, without the need
for low-voltage power from the HVAC or in my case, oil burner..
The touch screen works really well, kinda like my Nuvi 200 GPS..

Here's an idea for something for your next Giveaway..

Why does this thread attract spammers so much?
Is there something in this thread that we could change to slow them down?
Maybe get rid of the word "giveaway"??
