FYI, we're making a few changes in preparation for upgrading the forum software.

If you see any obvious bugs in the next few days, please let us know!

What's the source of that link?

When I go to the Introductions subforum, I see the topic there and the link works for me.

Also, I bet that thread was probably started by a spammer.

I just selected recent post and selected the link there.
Never mind it must be saved in my browser cache from the weekend.
I just tried it in a different browser and it works now.

Sorry for the false alarm but that was the only post still doing it.

It was your message on the weekend that alerted us to that specific problem. I was worried there was some other path to the busted URL I didn't know about.

Hello MetroMPG,

I wanted to update a thread I started. Used the search function for "nest camera". Clicked on the result and get the following error message:

"Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Hi sunspot - I think I need more information from you.

It worked fine for me when I did the following:

1) I typed nest camera in the search box at the top of this page and pressed the search button.

2) On the subsequent page of results, the first result that was not an ad was:

There was a Great Gray Owl in the yard the other day which got me thinking ( again) that I'd like to put a nesting platform up to hopefully attract ...

When I clicked that link, it took me to your thread.

Did you do something different?
