Battery recycling? lithium ion, nicad, etc.
So, my battery in my digicam finally totally kicked the bucket. It would take about 7 pictures before it died. So, I went on amazon and picked up a new one. Low and behold its a lithium ion battery. It says right on it to not dispose of in a fire (duh haha), and I know you are supposed to recycle them. Anyone know where I can take it or send it or what to do with it?

If not you can always call the manufacturer and see what they say since most electronics companies are starting to have take back programs or at least information.

Lowes has a recycle box as well, right by the exit.

You can recycle batteries at most chain hardware, electronics and office stores. The Call2Recycle™ Program has drop boxes most places where you buy batteries.
