They work! Checked them on a 9V battery. Reading matched my VOM. Resolution is only 0.1 volt.

They are Small! (wife said cute) Here's a pic with a USB stick for size comparison.

Nope, the PCB is exposed on the backside and there are open slots around the face plate part, where it would fit into a chassis opening.
