Default Winter Solstice today

Yeah, it's the Winter Solstice again.. But today, I'm scoping out the backyard
to make sure the longest shadows of the year aren't covering any of the
likely sites that I might want to install some PV on a post..

Here's what I learned today..

I can dig my post hole right at the tip of that roof shadow.
That old dish is going to be history before too much longer.

The only problem I can see, is that long skinny shadow on the left of the dish.
That's my 30-plus foot Rohn-25 ham radio tower. That might be hard to move.
But, I can make it about 10 feet shorter by removing 1 segment..
