I love eBay!!
Well I just scored me an outback vfx3648 inverter for 780$ brand new! They usually go for 1600 plus!
That is all just wanted to share O and that was 780$ shipped |

Nice! The 48V battery bank will save money on copper connections.
Do you have a 48V solar charge controller yet?

I've got a outback mx60.. It was another ebay find it was used but it works like a champ.I just need some more panels now

That's great controller. "PV Arrays up to 150 VDC Open Circuit"! That's a great spec!
Sounds like you are gonna have a great system.. See if you can find some Canadian Solar PV. The ones I have (200w) are great. Good solidly built panels and not too costly.

It's not eBay but Craigslist is almost as good.. Going to look at some one year old solar panels a guy has 6 224watt sharp panels for 150$ a panel. Hopefully they are there when I get a chance to get them

I see some Sharp 224w panels on Ebay for about $175 each.. But the shipping will likely be the deal killer..
If those used panels are still in good shape, (no damage) with good cables & connectors. $150 seems like a pretty good price. But, I wonder how Sharp honors warranties on used panels.?. Maybe you can get them for a little less than $150..
