Wow, thats impressive. Do you think it'll go back down with the water level, or stay put?

That is a great question. It has not moved in 2 years so I really don’t know. I just checked on it and it is still raised.
It did not go up any higher because the top went up to the grow bed and the grow bed stopped it from going any higher. It is crazy it was able to move it. I would have never thought it could have moved when full of water.

Do this go fill up your sink and then take a cup and fill it about 3/4 full of water. Gently place it bottom down in the water. Does it still float? (the answer is yes). It's not weight that matters but density. That tank even with it being full of water is less dense than the amount of water it can displace, therefore it will get pushed up. The trick to keep them from popping out of the ground is to make sure the water level is always above the ground water level. For most places this means probably an inch or so above the ground (because lets be honest there can be a bit of standing water before it percolates through the ground). |

I had just filled it up over the day before. But it does fill the front grow bed drains so the it would take out a couple hundred gallons of water in put it back every maybe 15 min.
it is not always as full of water as it is now. I check it once a week to see when I need to add water to the system. I can hear the front bed draining into the sump tank. It sounds different as the lever gets lower in the tank.

@Shellbark Thanks.
It looks like the tank went back down at least half the way maybe a little more. The plants are doing pretty well we are trying to trim the tomatoes as they grow this time. The parsley did not survive. The peppers are getting blossoms.

The greenhouse is doing well.
The bug light is really helping keep bugs out. This was a good add. I added a small aerator to the fish tank it does not use much power and you really cannot have too much air in the tank. The plants are doing well we have tomatoes on the vines and peppers growing. It is funny the floor in my greenhouse has a bunch on tomatoes starting. It is in mostly gravel just from some small tomatoes self-seeding into the floor.

We lost power on Sunday for just over 8 hours. The backup air kicked in and kept the fish happy with lots of air.
http://ecorenovator.org/forum/50286-post682.html The only thing I did was remove the auto fish feeder. I did not know how long the power would be out and I did not want the fish fed until the pump was running again.

The greenhouse floor is producing very well.
It is crazy how many tomatoes are coming up. The planted plants are doing well.
